About Robert J. Neuberger, Attorney at Law, and his Practice
Robert Neuberger was born in Baker, Oregon, a small cattle and lumber community in rural Northeastern Oregon, in 1953. Upon completion of high school, Attorney Neuberger moved east, attending Colorado College, graduating in 1976.
After receiving his bachelor's degree, Robert Neuberger returned to Oregon for law school, attending Lewis and Clark University's Northwestern School of Law. He attended school at night, first working for his hometown congressman, and then clerking for William M. Dale, a highly-respected judge in Multnomah County. His association with Judge Dale led to a clerkship during his last year of law school with Burl L. Green, one of Oregon's foremost trial lawyers. Robert Neuberger completed his law degree in 1980.
Upon graduation, Robert Neuberger began practicing in Portland with Burl Green, becoming a partner less than three years later. The firm was renamed Green, Griswold & Neuberger. Upon Burl Green's retirement in 1989, Robert Neuberger joined Frank Pozzi and Donald Wilson's Portland firm of Pozzi Wilson Atchison, where he was a partner until 1999.
