Becoming a Client
If you or someone you love has been injured in an accident, you should feel free to contact the office of Robert J. Neuberger, Attorney at Law, at any time, but please do so as soon as possible.
The initial call
Your first call to the office of Robert J. Neuberger, Attorney at Law, should include the following information:
- Your name
- Date of the incident
- Time of day
- Whether or not the police were involved
- If the police were involved, a copy of the police report and incident number
- The type and degree of your injury or the injury of the person affected
- Whether or not you saw or are planning to see a doctor
- Names and contact information of witnesses or involved parties
- Insurance information for you, the driver and the owner of all vehicles
- Whether or not you have spoken with an insurance agent
Your questionnaire will be handled by a qualified paralegal, and will be handed directly to Attorney Neuberger. At that point, someone in our office will get back to you within 24-48 hours to schedule a consultation with him.
Please bring the following documents, if you have them, with you to your initial consultation:
- Copy of the police report
- Any photographs taken at the scene of the accident or of your injuries
- Medical Report
- Insurance
- Vehicle Registration
During this consultation, you will meet with Attorney Neuberger. He will explain to you how these types of cases are handled and also the nature of the law pertaining to your situation. You will have your questions answered and you will be given an honest opinion as to whether your claim is one that should be pursued.
This initial consultation is free of charge, and you are not bound to anything until you feel that you are ready for Attorney Robert J. Neuberger to protect your rights and fight for you. Should you feel that Robert Neuberger is the proper lawyer to handle your case, you will sign a retainer agreement naming him as your legal representative.
Once the retainer agreement is signed, you will not have to deal with any insurance agent, doctor, representative or witness that may or may not have something to do with your case. The firm will take care of this, so all you will need to do is concentrate on getting better. The legal issues will become the responsibility of the Robert Neuberger.
